Are You Waiting For Something?

Are you waiting for something?

One of the things I least like doing in life is WAITING!

I’ve done a fair bit of it in my life and I’m not bad at it. As in, I’m a pretty patient person. But… if I’m waiting for someone I’m meeting to turn up and they’re really late and don’t let me know, I get a little frustrated!!

Or the feeling of waiting for something to change in your life and it doesn’t… until you finally realize that it won’t until you take action to make it change.

A couple of years ago I was offered an opportunity to work with an amazing Life Coach and it changed my life in so many good ways. One of the things I decided I would change from then on was that I didn’t have to wait. I could choose when to wait and when to take action.

That year I decided to take action and this is why you are reading my blog right now! I invested in myself and said yes to so many new things, including training as a Life Coach.

So… what is it you are waiting for?
Why are you waiting?
When will you know if it’s time to take action?
How will you know?

My advice?
Don’t wait… just do.

Try something new that’s in line with your values. Something that’s on the path to your vision.

How do you know it’s in line or on the path?
Because your intuition will tell you.

How will you hear your intuition?
You listen for it.
It sounds like a feeling.
It either feels right and says “YES go for it” OR something feels not quite right, a bit off or clearly wrong and it says “NO don’t do it”.

You will know.

This will help you with every step to move along your path and the more you listen, the more you can rely on your intuition.

That is: Trust yourself!

Don’t wait for the big moment that looks like it might be the right thing for you or the right time for you. The one with the glowing lights around it and a big arrow saying “walk this way” or “your true life – this way”. ‘Coz it doesn’t exist. Learn to recognize the little signs as steps that come up each day and take them.
It might not feel like much. Maybe it’s having a conversation with a stranger or taking a different route to work. Maybe it’s not going to a party where you know you’ll be bored after half an hour of small talk and no real connection or saying yes to an inspiring presentation.

In these moments, listen to what your intuition is saying to you and choose what you know to be in your best interests, moving forward to the true life you imagine yourself living.

With love and kindness
Sarah
